Proﬁle of Shigeyoshi Nakai, Executive Chef, Hotel Niseko Alpen
In September 1967, born in Shibetsu, Hokkaido.
In 1983, he started his career as a chef and worked as the head chef at restaurants and hotels in Sapporo.
In 2006, he joined a major hotel in Sapporo. He served as the Banquet Manager and the Continental Chef.
In 2018, he became the Executive Chef of a major hotel.
In 2021, he became the Executive Chef of Hotel Niseko Alpen.
Mr. Shigeyoshi Nakai, the Executive Chef, has been learning and pursuing the delicious ingredients from Hokkaido. He has carefully selected a number of recipes from his past experiences, and will oﬀer a menu that can only be tasted at Hotel Niseko Alpen in Hokkaido, a treasure trove of ingredients. The restaurant oﬀers exquisite cuisine that allows you to enjoy Niseko and the whole of Hokkaido with all ﬁve senses.
